Hi Elle,From what I've read in the San Jose Mercury, the FDA still does not recommend eaitng tomatoes even after washing them. As far as the super market situation, I believe they are affected too. I know that Trader Joe's opted to remove tomato offerings from shelves for the time being. I'd play it safe for now and try to avoid tomatoes for now until the FDA can pinpoint where this is all coming from. |
