The thing is you really need to follow a diet that ensures proper weight loss (fat loss) but that doesn't keep you hungry or makes you lose muscle. Why don't you want to lose muscle? Because if you lose muscle you lower your metabolism and if you lower it you'll be more susceptible to the yo-yo effect of most irresponsible diet programs.A proper diet will make sure that you eat enough protein as needed to maintain muscle mass and keep you satisfied.Exercising is so important that trying to lose fat without it is like trying to ride a bike that has no wheels. when I talk about exercising I'm actually referring to weight lifting and cardio training. With weight lifting you stimulate your body to build and maintain muscle so that when you lose your body fat you look like a million bucks. Cardio training (aerobics, running, swimming, etc) helps you burn fat by burning extra calories.
