I am one of the previous employees of the www.800notes.com-I am letting the common public know about my first hand experience at the company.I was hired as a fresher and right on the very first day I was told how the whole scam works.The company head- Julia Forte makes it a point that the strategy is very well drilled in every executives head.
Basically they would encourage people to come and write complaints about various phone numbers and tele callers.Now every one registering on the website is required to put in the details of the email.Ones a complaint comes in-they would let it lie on the website just like that and see if any more people are writing against the number.If not-then one of the team members of the 800notes.com would put up some false comments and posts about the number.This ways they would build up a lot of complaints against one number.
Ones sufficient complaints were collected,we were asked to get in touch with these numbers/phone callers personally make them aware of what has been posted about the numbers and against their companies.The job was basically to emphasize about the repercussions of the number staying there online.We would build up pressure on them to get these numbers removed,scared them with all possible explanations.And to remove the posts the company would ask them to pay hefty amounts ranging from 500 to 2000 USD.The amount was supposed to be transferred by means that could not be clearly tracked-in false bank accounts,direct transfers in employee names!!!
Those who do not relent to their pressure tactics-well the magnitude of the false attack was increased on them-Julia Forte supervised this department herself-she is very unethical and has simply no moral values.

Trying to locate the company and the only address I have been able to track down is a UPS mail box address - the one on Holly Springs. Could you provide me with an actual street address for the company or Ms. Forte - it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much.

Insurance scam rears its ugly head!
As if the economic and real estate situation isn’t difficult enough! .
These homeowners insurance companies lure customers away from Citizens Insurance, evaluate the home and provide homeowners insurance.
Several weeks after they take the customer’s money they notify the homeowner that they have cancelled the policy because the home is a risk.
Several weeks later they again offer insurance trough their subsidiary company but double or triple the premium.
Then during hurricane season they again notify the customer they have cancelled the policy because the home is at risk.
There may also be cases of discrimination involved.

I have had similar experience with 800notes. They removed my rebuttals. Leave the outrageous lies there. They hide behind the AntiSlapp law and the CDA of 1996. Please provide more detalis of your experience on the wikipedia site.

800 Notes has been nothing but useful and a wealth of info and in my opinion there is not a tele marketer out there I want to hear from, there is nothing legit about their calls to me nor to most of us regular Jack and Jill that post on 800.
If the site is what you claim it to be, why post here, call the feds.

It is actually a pretty brilliant scam. There are a ton of companies that would just as soon pay this ransom than deal with all the legal expenses in a crap shoot of a law suit type case. The internet has no governing body. Which makes it extremely difficult to prosecute. It's like the wild west.
I do truly feel bad for the mom and pop small business' out there that have been ruined by this scam. Julia will have to answer too her maker one day.

There is absolutely nothing "scammy" about 800notes. Indeed, 800notes exists to expose scammers.
If there were any truth to these ridiculous allegations it would take just one phone call to the proper authorities and we would all be hearing about it on the evening news program.
So why not make that phone call instead of writing this fiction on the internet?
No need to answer, the conclusion is obvious to anyone with more than a double-digit IQ.

Every time I get a call from a scumbag telemarketer I am always able to find out who they are on 800notes. I'm on the Federal do not call list, amd the info I get helps me file my complaint

America has a free enterprise system that allows us to have certain freedoms. With the free enterprise system people are allowed to set up a business with their own rules. Ms. Forte's websites are her business. If you do not agree with those rules then you are free to not use the website or visit those businesses. The rules of that site appear to use a selective censorship which seems to favor some of the major players. You are not allowed to post a comment about WCA Subscriber Services that contains the link to their website http://www.wcaconsent.com, nor comments asking why the FBI has not used the RICO act to pursue Pacific Telecom. Those comments will be deleted.
I did my protesting against "Big Brother" and censorship in the 60's which included rights to freedom of choice. So now I am just exercising my freedom to disagree with the rules of this business and no longer place comments on that site.

If you post a comment on the site asking why the FBI hasn't used the RICO act and gone after one of the major companies behind the CNAM revenue sharing scam the comment will be deleted. One of the principles in the company that set up the CNAM scam also specializes in setting up shell companies and false bank accounts for money laundering and tax evasion. |

I happen to be a retired "problem solver" with Federal law enforcement, and also claims supervisor with a major insurance company - so I consider myself a good investigator. There's 3 things wrong with your "post" First of all, for you English is obviously a second language. Which leads me to believe that YOU are just one of the telemarketers that's just trying to undermine 800 Notes. Secondly, you claim that the scam involves contacting the "scumbag" telemarketer and blackmailing them. There's only one MAJOR flaw in that statement - These criminals use "dead" phone numbers almost all the time - and, according to MANY posts on 800 notes, every time someone tries to call them (back) they get a recording telling them that the number is NOT in service, etc. How ya gonna blackmail that ?? And third, what you are talking about, essentially, is blackmailing criminals - SO FU**ING WHAT ?!? As a (albeit former) member of the Federal law enforcement community, I really can't get too excited about that

Drug addicts??? Drug dealers?? Child molesters??!!?? I don't think so - for several reasons. Let's take the last irresponsible statement first. I happen to be a retired "problem solver" with Federal law enforcement - so you can (pretty much) depend on what I say. The U.S. Congress long ago passed legislation giving grants ($$) to state and local law enforcement across the country to "reward" their efforts in arresting and prosecuting "child molesters". As a practical-matter-of-fact, that means that local government gets $$ every time they arrest and prosecute "child molesters" - major or minor. So, just about EVERY law enforcement agency in America "sets up" units that are constantly "on the lookout" for these "perverts". It's to their advantage - because almost every government agency's budget depends on these government grants to balance the budget. The bottom line is - there are major efforts almost everywhere to find, arrest, and jail all of these perverts, and the result of that is that not much, if anything gets past law enforcement. So, if, as you claim (which I seriously doubt) these persons are "child molesters". they would be "behind the walls" long ago.
I think what we have here is very simple - just some telemarketer (for whom English is a second language) trying to undermine 800 Notes by invoking 3 "hot button" issues. From what I can tell - as a major contributor to 800 Notes, and based on my years of employment - 800Notes is providing a valuable community service. Period. |

The preponderance of evidence, IMHO, points to 800notes being operated by a government agency, and Julia Forte simply does not exist. I was having problems with a phone number that was calling me, I wrote about my experience on 800notes, but the moderators deleted the comments and also removed the phone number from their database. The number that was being used to call me, is posted on a Usenet news group, called news.admin.net-abuse.email, the phone number also is linked to child pornography, The Royal Canadian Mounted Police,The Royal Canadian Internet Cabal, also with an affiliation to the Lumber Cartel. |

The registered users @ 800notes.com are bullies who only post to entertain themselves and occasionally toss in some important info, self-justifying for posting at all. Instead of clearing out unwanted posts, they would rather bait people into an argument so they can each take turns marking your post with negative likes [-1] at the same time pat each other on the butt with a [+1], all the while the thread fills up with useless garbage , mostly from them.
I even seen Sir Bedevere lie about why they didnt remove a fake post when asked, saying it wasnt a TOS violation, when in fact it was pointed out the specifics of the violation. He just removed that post, leaving his to show with his reason its wasnt a violation. Then on top of that he removed a post of the guy who questioned him and that guy didn't violate any TOS.
Slim is the main troublemaker, baiting people into posting by grilling them with questions to make them prove their reasoning of their post, then discredit anything they say, so his buddies have a reason to troll the thread. They challenge anyone who asks a question and gangs up on them. When they are shown they were wrong about something, they simply remove your post into a PPMA ("Pending Post Moderation Approval"), which is never approved.
The site is littered with PPMA, along with registered members posts heckling suspected troll/Shills, many of which they baited. There are also posts of them making fun of how people spell, why they responded to an older post, etc. Its understandable any message board needs to ensure trolling and spamming needs to be monitored, but they act suspicious of anyone posting who responds to a reply made by them to the Original Poster. If you even remotely sound like your against them or their motives, your post is removed by PPMA. The site isnt even creditable with many numbers, since they dont challenge short story responses. Many trolls/shills take advantage of this and post nonsense stories , where some are challenged, but not removed because the registered users would be able to leave their own heckling posts without looking foolish. So its sometimes difficult to even find if a number has good information about it. |
